Ni hao! Linguajoy Mandarin Club

Linguajoy Mandarin Club welcomes children aged 7–12 who are eager to continue exploring the Mandarin Chinese language in an inspiring and supportive environment!

This club is designed for children who already have some familiarity with Mandarin Chinese and would like to strengthen their language skills through meaningful, engaging, and creative activities. The atmosphere is warm, encouraging, and low-pressure, allowing every child to participate at their own level and grow in confidence.

Lessons combine conversation, games, storytelling, projects, cultural activities, movement, and hands-on tasks that make learning dynamic and enjoyable. Our experienced native-speaking teachers encourage students to use Mandarin naturally while deepening their understanding of the language and culture.

During the course, students expand their vocabulary, develop speaking and listening skills, practise reading and writing Chinese characters, and build confidence with sentence structures and everyday communication. We also explore Chinese traditions, celebrations, food culture, and modern life in Chinese-speaking countries.

Mandarin Club supports children in becoming confident and curious language learners in a fun, immersive, and supportive environment where every learner is encouraged to shine. Learning Mandarin Chinese also helps students build valuable future skills, opening doors to global communication, cultural understanding, and opportunities in an increasingly international world.

  • Autumn Term: Tuesday, September 1 – Tuesday December 15, 2026. The term includes 15 lessons.

  • Spring Term: Tuesday, January 12 – Tuesday, May 11, 2027. The spring term includes 17 lessons.

  • Linguajoy Mandarin Club meets once a week for a 45-minute session.

  • Age group: 7-12 years
