Konnichiwa! Linguajoy Japanese Club

Are you interested in Japanese, anime, games, or Asian cultures? Linguajoy Japanese Club invites 8–15-year-old language adventurers to explore the fascinating world of the Japanese language and culture!

In this Japanese course, we learn Japanese in an inspiring, immersive, and encouraging learning environment. The course offers a multisensory approach to language – through music, art, cooking, and role-play. At the Japanese Club, we explore both traditional and modern phenomena – from tea rooms to technology and from anime to pop culture.

Our warm-hearted and experienced native teachers lead the lessons, providing an authentic connection to the language and its cultural roots.

During the course, we’ll learn the basics of Japanese, such as greetings, core vocabulary, simple sentence structures, and everyday expressions. We’ll also discover what makes Japanese unique – including the hiragana and katakana writing systems, kanji characters, and the culture of polite communication – through visual, creative, and memorable methods that support each learner’s individual pace.

  • Autumn Term: Tuesday, September 1 – Tuesday December 15, 2026. The term includes 15 lessons.

  • Spring Term: Tuesday, January 12 – Tuesday, May 11, 2027. The spring term includes 17 lessons.

  • Linguajoy Japanese Club meets once a week for a 45-minute session.

  • Age group: 8-15 years

  • Time: Tuesday 17:15-18:00
