An encouraging Finnish class for children who already communicate confidently in Finnish and are ready to deepen their language skills through meaningful interaction and inspiring activities!

Linguajoy’s Finnish Intermediate Plus for 7–12-year-olds is designed for students who already have a solid foundation in Finnish and would benefit from further developing their speaking, vocabulary, reading, writing, and grammar skills in a warm and engaging small-group environment. Throughout the course, students strengthen their confidence in spoken interaction, explore richer sentence structures, and practice expressing their own thoughts and ideas in Finnish.

As the semester progresses, we also work with reading, writing, and grammar activities that support school learning and help students feel more confident using Finnish both in and outside the classroom. Lessons are built around conversation, creativity, collaborative activities, and real-life communication, while also reinforcing important language structures and literacy skills. Our encouraging native-speaking teacher creates a warm and supportive atmosphere where every student is seen, heard, and inspired to participate actively.

In contrast to larger classroom environments, Linguajoy’s small group size allows each learner to receive personal attention and plenty of opportunities to use Finnish confidently and spontaneously. The course can also offer valuable additional support for multilingual and international families whose children are navigating Finnish school life in a second or additional language.
